A New Orleans television station is reporting that former first lady Candy Edwards has been allegedly abused by the father of her three year old son, Brian Low.
The altercation occurred as Edwards arrived at Low's mother's house to pick up her son. Low was reported to have grabbed her by the neck and throwing her into a wall resulting in a cut on her head. Edwards also said that Low hit her in the face. She also suffered from a broken off front tooth.
The couple have been separated for several months.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Department arrested Low and charged him with second degree battery.
Candy Edwards was treated at a local hospital.

Wow! That woman a mess ...as her record indicates (altercation while drunk with a cop...whom she threatened...)...I wouldn't be surprised if she set all stuff up! Poor guy!
That's too bad. Whatever happened, it's a shame the child has to deal with something so horrible in his family.
