A group of National Guardsman are training in Mississippi preparing for a deployment to Iraq. There was concern that the troops would be separated from their families this Christmas. However, Cedarstone Bank is helping to raise money to be spent on buses to bring troops to their families for Christmas.

If interested in making donations to help bus the troops home, you can make donations at Cedarstone Bank.  There are locations in Mt. Juliet, Nashville, and Lebanon.  I talked to several area people that plan on donating to the cause. During the holiday season, many Davidson County residents want to do what they can to help those in need - including our active duty military families. Bringing the troops home may not sound that expensive, but the buses can cost between $10,000 and $12,000 for the week.

See the video below for more information.

Here are the exact locations and phone numbers for Cedarstone Bank locations accepting donations:

1499 North Mount Juliet Road, Mt Juliet, TN - (615) 754-1411

2900 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN - (615) 874-1444

900 West Main Street, Lebanon, TN - (615) 443-1411

You can visit Cedarstone Bank on the Web by clicking here. They are not currently accepting donations on the Web site.
