The National Enquirer recently ran a story that indicated an alleged affair between Tiger Woods and Rachel Uchitel, a New York Socialite. Uchitel denies claims of the affair. According to Hollywood Gossip, Tiger Woods' lawyers deny allegations made by the Enquirer that Woods is having an affair with her, certain celebrity gossip sites and tabloids are making innuendos that the rumored affair played a role in the Tiger Woods car accident. Uchitel also claims that the tabloid rumors are not true, and that she doesn't know Woods.
Tiger Woods' wife Elin is said to have "rescued" her husband by smashing in a window to his Cadillac Escalade and pulling him out of his car. Then again, Woods is only said to have been going less than 33 mph during the time of the crash. In addition, he hit a fire hydrant, then a tree. While media reports initially claimed that Wood's injuries were "severe", they turned out to be facial lacerations that were treated at the hospital. Tiger Woods was released after receiving treatment.
Then there are the issues of pending charges. Florida State Troopers indicate that there are possible charges pending as a result of the accident, although they also claim that alcohol did not play a factor in the accident.

Tiger's wife obviously saw the news articles on his affair with Rachel Urchitel and went ballistic especially since he cheated on her when they were engaged (and even had a secret cellphone that she found). A leopard never changes its spots and neither does a Tiger!

Elin and Tiger were arguing about the other woman.She hit him in his "lying mouth" with the golf club. Fearing another Chris Brown/Rihanna episode, he tried to escape. Elin,with golf club in hand,chased after him and busted the window out of his car causing him to hit the fire hydrant and the tree.
