Tiger Woods latest update brings us a break down of endorsement deal changes that have occurred since the scandal broke late last month. Let's take a look at what's happened, and how it could affect Tiger's bottom line:
Gatorade
Gatorade was the first to announce changes in their use of Tiger Woods. The Tiger Focus line of drinks has been discontinued, although the decision is said to have been made months prior to the scandal breaking. Gatorade has not announced that they are discontinuing their relationship with the golfer. Tiger received royalties on the sale of these beverages, so this means he will lose royalties on sales.
Accenture
Accenture was the first sponsor to abandon the golfer. This was a major decision for the consulting firm, who built their entire marketing campaign around the golfer.
Tag Heuer
Luxury watch maker Tag Heuer dropped Tiger Woods, and then announced that they were sticking by him. Tiger dodged a bullet with them, and it looks like he will get to keep this endorsement.
Gillette
Gillette has not eliminated their use of Tiger Woods, but they did announce that they were scaling back to honor his request for privacy. It is uncertain when or if he will start appearing in ads again.
When you think about the Tiger Woods scandal, it almost appears as if the golfer is on an island and is all alone. This is not the case - Tiger Woods is not alone at all. Tiger Woods deserves all the bad publicity that he is receiving. He has become 'the one' that your parents warned you against bringing home. At least one thing is perfectly clear - Woods is coward at heart. He is running away when he should be facing his detractors. 'You're the man' no more. ' YOU'RE THE COWARD' is more appropriate.

I reply: yes, it's very common to collect 15+ mistresses. Of course everyone I know has 15+ mistresses, and if everyone else does it, that makes it acceptable. We all learned this in school.
