John Rich a Country Music star, is thanking his lucky stars today. Two charges of assault have been dropped against him. The charges popped up because a Nashville Star contestant claimed that he punched him at a private nightclub in March 2008.
After hearing John Rich's testimony and the testimony of several witnesses, Judge John Aaron Holt dropped the charges against the "Big & Rich" star. Jared Ashley is the former Nashville Star contestant that made the claims. He also later claimed that Rich sent him threatening voice mails.
The dismissal of the charges is welcomed news to Rich, who has maintained his innocence throughout the investigation of the case.
