The Dancing with the Stars winner was announced last night. American tuned in to the popular show Dancing with the Stars to see who the winner would be. Would the winner be America's hands-down favorite Donny Osmond? Or would the Chaplins win? Or would it be Ozzy Osbourne's daughter Kelly, with Louis van Amstel?
Mya Chaplin and Donny Osmond were neck-and-neck in a tie. However, the American viewing public loved Donny Osmond and he was deemed the winner of the show. Despite the fact it was her fourth season, Kim Johnson (Donny Osmond's dancing partner) had her first Dancing with the Stars win during season 9.
Dancing with the Stars is a popular show with pretty much everyone in the United States. Nielson ratings indicate that is one of the top 5 watched shows in the nation.
One of the pro dancers in Dancing with the Stars, Julianne Hough, announced on Ryan Seacrest's radio show that she would not be returning on Dancing with the Stars Season 10. She's got Nashville in her radar, and even released her first country music album back in May. The album got the attention of Music City, and she won the Academy of Country Music's honors for Top New Female Vocalist and Top New Artist. Hough is also going to star in the remake of the movie Footloose. The Dancing with the Stars winners are lucky that they got to work with this talented dancer before she decided to depart the show.
At least America is content now that the Dancing With the Stars winner for the 9th season has been announced. Donny has proven that he's just as much of a star now as he has been for the last couple of decades.

I think Mya should have won it. Period.
I CAN NOT BELIEVE HE WON AS CLEARLY MYA WAS THE BEST DANCER FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON. IT IS A SHAME THE JUDGES LET THIS HAPPEN WHEN THEY HAD THE POWER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I WILL NOT WATCH THE SHOW AGAIN EVER AS IT IS OBVIOUS TALENT DOES NOT MATTER.
There is no way in hell Donny should of won. Mya won it hands down. Is this the whole white boy gotta have everything deal. I
am so disappointed in DWTS. This is the last time I'm watching the show.
Donny Osmond was the ONLY choice for Winner!!!!! He is a true star in every sense of the word! He is charasmatic and definitely had talent at dancing - which was clearly evident in his final group dance as he indeed kept up with the professional men. Mya, on the other hand, was also a talented dancer but she was arrogant and cocky to say the least. Mya - a star ? - I think not!! She has a good body but an ugly personality and face to have to watch. Donny Osmond rules!!!!
Yes!!!!! I AM SO GLAD DONNIE OSMOND WON!!!! HE WORKED VERY HARD TO WIN THIS, AND IN MY OPINION HE SHOULD HAVE WON!!! I AM ALSO VERY FOND OF KIM JOHNSON HIS PROFESSIONAL PARTNER!!!! AND VERY GLAD SHE HAS A WIN IN SEASON 9!!!!
I also thought Mya would have won it. But hey we're in America and the people spoke. Besides, Donny can dance as much as Mya considering their age difference. Donny is the star! Congratulations Donny!
At this point, it's obvious there will be mixed feelings on who should have won. Both Donnie & Mya were deserving to win but let's face it ~ the audience spoke. Mya was good from the start & Donnie got better from the start. In the end, his hard work payed off with the judges & both were even in the end leaving the winner up to the audience! Apparantly there's more Donnie supporters than Mya supporters. If you didn't vote then don't complain. If you did vote & your choice didn't win then don't complain cause someone's gotta win & someone doesn't! Am I happy that Donnie won ... Yes & I did my part & voted for him. Would I have been happy that Mya won even though I didn't vote for her ... Yes cause both were good dancers & did a great job & BOTH deserved to win but ... there can only be one winner. I say good job to all even Kelly cause she came a long way from when she started & in my book she too is a winner. So CONGRATS to all 3 WINNERS!! Great Job Done & Great Show!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have watched DWTS every season that it has aired. But, I have watched my last show. Evidently talent and confidence does not matter. If it did Mya would have won hands down. Count the number of 10-10-10s that Mya got to Donny's one.
Mya is a natural and she really didn't show a great improvement from beginning to end, which is why the judges were a lot more harsh in her scores. Donny showed improvement. Both are awesome, but yes, the audience chose its winner so there you have it. :)
