Cowboy conservatives weep as Governor Rick Perry turns the bus towards Texas

In this column I’ve taken more than a few shots at Governor Rick Perry.

It’s much like picking on a mentally or physically challenged school mate. A bit too easy, unfair, and socially unacceptable. And for that, I apologize to Governor Perry for all journalists that took easy pot shots at Mr. Rick.

And with that said…

Governor Perry showed real signs of intelligence and class as he withdrew his bid for the Republican Party nod for a run at the presidency. At dawns early light, standing next to his Prevost steed, Governor Rick stated that he no longer had a logical path to follow on the road to the presidency.

Campaign staffers took the statement a bit further by stating that Perry had exhausted funding and friends. And then things took a turn for the worse.

Governor Perry, the apparent victim of a horse hoof to the side of the head; endorsed Newt Gingrich.

And I love this part:  Rick Perry was quoted by MSNBC news as saying, “Newt Gingrich is not perfect, but who among us is?”  Damn smart Rick, damn smart!

The greatest show on earth will continue with Ex-wife#2 Gingrich, exposing the inner workings of a supposed open marriage. Is Romney covering the tab for that expose?

The stage is being set for an American Corporate Raider to take a run at unseating Barack Obama.

Will America vote Wall Street into the White House?
