A 7.1 earthquake hit 200 miles south-southwest of Tokyo at 7:55 PM. Its epicenter was 188 miles deep, the United States Geological Survey reported.
There were no immediate reports of damage, and the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not issue a tsunami warning.

It is thoughtful news. More is on derrickthomasdeath.blogspot.com
Nice graphic, Fox. Very technical. Exciting coverage, too! Way to talk to anyone who may have felt it - you know, really drive it home. Why does anyone watch FOX, ever?
2 points:
"Here's the map so you can see where Japan is"...it is unfortunate that Fox has to (probably correctly) assume that most of their viewers do not know where Japan is.
"Agencies ruled out any chance of tsunami..that is good news for Hawaii and especially for part of the the West Coast of the US"....um, also pretty good news for the 50-60 million folks along the East coast of Japan, don't you think??
Sad. Very Sad.
Got something to say?
