Nintendo courting developers for DSiWare

After Sony’s announcement of their “minis” program, Nintendo is now revealing their own strategy to encourage development for DSiWare.

According to Pocket Gamer, Nintendo is about to launch a new initiative to make it easier for smaller to developers to get their foot in the door. Full details haven’t been revealed, but Pocket Gamer reports the current pricing structure for all DSiWare games will remain the same, and Nintendo will maintain a degree of control of which games get what price tag.

Unlike Sony’s “minis” program, which allows games up to 100MB in size, games on DSiWare must be below 20MB.
