A lot has already been written about the WOGA Classic, happening Feb. 19-20 in Frisco, Texas (list of competitors here).
Linked to the Classic is the WOGA Elite Qualifier, which features some of the biggest names in U.S. gymnastics as they try to qualify for the CoverGirl Classic and U.S. Championships this summer.
Ergo, the point of competing at the qualifier is to achieve a high enough all-around score so that you qualify for the U.S. Championships, or at least for the prestigious CoverGirl Classic, which is itself a U.S. Championships qualifier.
Here are the gymnasts scheduled to compete optional routines at the qualifier (but not at the Classic itself):

In addition, the following gymnasts have signed up to compete in the compulsory elite qualifier, which basically means that they'll be aiming to solidify their status as elite gymnasts. All of them, with the exception of Texas Dreams's Macy Toronjo, have also registered for the optional qualifier, whereas the names above only need to test optional and not compulsory.

I am over the moon to see that Kamerin Moore is back. I had really just about given up on seeing her healthy and competing again, so it really makes me happy to know she's coming back.
What happened to Bailie Key & Reagan Campbell?
First of all, this year only national team members can qualify to championships. Everyone else has to go thru classics and get the qualifying score there.
Second of all, this doesn't make sense. Why would Elizabeth Price, a national team member, be competing in compulsories?
Got something to say?
