U.S. gymnasts won another three gold medals during the second day of event finals at the Pan American Championship in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Newcomer McKayla Maroney won her second individual title of the championship on floor exercise with a 14.225 (5.7/8.525), finishing just ahead of former Gym Max teammate Kyla Ross, who scored 14.075 (5.6/8.475). Canada's Kristina Vaculik picked up her second bronze of the championship with a 13.975 (5.5/8.475) on floor.

On balance beam, 15-year-old Sabrina Vega posted another top score to win the title (14.5/5.9/8.6) over Venezuela's Jessica Lopez (14.2/5.6/8.6) and U.S. teammate Sarah Finnegan (14.15/5.5/8.65).

Men's all-around champion Daniel Corral of Mexico earned the title on parallel bars (14.925/5.9/9.025). Top parallel bars qualifier Ken Ikeda of Canada was second (14.825/6.1/8.725), followed by Colombia's Jorge Hugo Giraldo (14.775/6.0/8.775).

Stanford's Alex Buscaglia won his first major international title on high bar (15.475/6.8/8.675), besting Venezuela's Jose Fuentes (14.9/6.5/8.4) and Wes Haagensen (14.8/6.4/8.4).

Chile's Enrique Gonzalez made up for just missing the gold on floor with his winning performance on vault, where he successfully landed attempts worth 7.0 and 6.6 to average 16.012. Just behind him was up-and-coming Brazilian star Sergio Sasaki, 18, who threw vaults of the same difficulty to average 15.95. Puerto Rico's Luis Riviera was third, averaging 15.85 for two vaults each worth 6.6.

The U.S. was the big winner at this meet, picking up 14 medals, nine of them gold. Unfortunately, all the American women selected for this championship are not of age to make the World team.
