It's more rhythmic gymnastics -- this time from Medellin, Colombia, where Associated Press photographer Fernando Vergara caught the colorful action of the women's competition.
Meanwhile in Kiev, 2007 World rhythmic champion Anna Bessonova, swanlike in a flowing white dress, gave a heartfelt farewell performance at the Deryugina World Cup.
Bessonova, rhythmic gymnastics's answer to the great Lilia Podkopayeva, touched her head to the mat at the end of her routine, overcome with emotion.
