Results:

All-around: 1. Jordyn Pedersen (Oakville), 60.4; 2. Shallon Olsen (Omega), 58.8; 3. Maegan Chant (World Class), 57.7; 4. Elise Bolger (Oakville), 55.5; 5. Kassondra Lepik (Gemini), 55.4; 6. Victoria Kayen Woo (Gym-Richelieu), 54.75; 7. Annie Sheridan (Oakville), 54.4; 8T. Brianna Clark (Gymnix) and Abby Stacey (Cambridge Kips), 54.2; 10. Rose Kalam Woo (Gym-Richelieu), 53.65.

Pedersen had the top score on beam (15.9), Olsen was the best on floor (15.45), Chant won vault (15.25) and Lepik won bars (16.2).

If scores look a little high in the Novice divsion, it's because they are. The Novices are not using the FIG code of points to determine start value.

3:34 p.m.: Rotation four:

Heaven Latimer, vault: Yurchenko layout.

Casey Carvalho, bars: Hit routine.

Emilie Blackner, beam: Fall. Pretty Gainer layout with a wobble. Like her leo too -- long sleeved red with a gold maple leaf on the side.

Megan Sipos, floor: Sipos is apparently not competing floor, since Olsen is going first.

Rose-Kalam Woo, vault: Handspring front tuck, good landing. Tsuk open pike.

Kirsten Peterman, bars: Hit routine with a little bit of form here and there.

Sophie Guidon, beam: Press mount to stag handstand. Front aerial. Bhs, back tuck. Switch side. Didn't see dismount, but she made it well.

Shallon Olsen, floor: Fink is taping this, and Gymnastics Canada CEO Jean Paul Caron is now watching too. Whoops, wrong music. Starting again. Full in tucked. Whip, two bhs, double tuck. Switch, tourjete half. Side aerial. Flips onto knees from her back. Switch ring. Double pike. 2.5 twist to deer jump. Caron is clapping. "Unbelievable," Fink says.

Jordyn Pedersen, vault: FTY, good landing. Little bit of form in the air, but not bad at all. Same seonc vault with hop back.

Oleksandra Yermolchuk, bars: Toe hecht to high, double tuck.

Mariana Colussi-Pelaez, beam: Front aerial. Bhs, layout. Jumps. Two bhs to 1.5.

Elise Bolger, floor: Double pike. 1.5 twist to punch front to deer jump. Double turn. Stuck double twist. Switch, switch side. Double tuck, a few steps back and OOB.

Annie Sheridan, vault: Yurchenko layout with steps back. Better second attempt.

Victoria Woo, bars: Nice routine, a little leg separations on her blind, for example. Double layout dismount.

Emily Ponce, beam: Oh cool mount, handstand bridge on beam, stands up. Off on front aerial, bhs, layout. Two bhs to double twist.

Meagen Chant, floor: OOB on full twisting double tuck. Double tucj with leg up. Punch front to double back. Double pike, a little stumble back but OK.

Makinli Handley, vault: Yurchenko tuck.

Sydney Davison, bars: Missed it.

Taylor Davison, beam: Bhs, layout.

Kassondra Lepik, floor: Double pike, step back. 1.5 to double full. Switch, switch side. Front handspring, barani layout. Double pike or tuck to hands and knees.

Brianna Clark, vault: Two good Yurchenko layouts.

Ivy Lu, bars: Clear hip, toe stalder, blind , front giants, easy double pike with a step forward. Great swing and very calm.

Abbey Stacey, floor: Ended with double full.

2:51 p.m.: Rotation three:

Ivy Lu, vault: Good Yurchenko tuck. Same second vault with steps back.

Taylor Davison, bars: Hecht to dead hang on high bar, has to stop. Almost misses hand on blind. Double pike, good form but chest a little low.

Abbey Stacey, beam: Switch, wolf, pike. Side somie. Fall on bhs, layout to two feet. Pretty shell pink sleeveless leotard. Switch half. Double full, very nice.

Brianna Clark, floor: Stumble back on double tuck, lands on her bottom. Front full. Double full. Classical piece with heavy violin.

Casey Carvalho, vault: Missed it.

Heaven Latimer, floor: Fell on full in opener. Fall on punch front through to 2.5 twist. Does not look happy with this routine. Fun Indian music.

Sophie Guindon, bars: Clear hip, tioe hecht to high, missed.

Shallon Olsen, beam: Former FIG President Hardy Fink has taken the time to cross the head table to watch this routine closely. Front aerial, bhs, layout. Switch, back tuck, back pike, awesome. Wofl, very good. Split, scissone. Full turn, right on. Two bhs to double back dismount. Wow.

Rose Kalam Woo, floor: Music is the song "Blue," popular the year she was born. Double pike. Sat down double tuck. Switch, switch side. 1.5 to punch front, little too forward. Double turn. Double full.

Oleksandra Yermolchuk, vault: Yurchenko tuck, good. Yurchenko pike. Perhaps a bit slow on her rotation in the air.

Mariana Colussi-Pelaez, bars: Fall.

Elise Bolger, beam: Press handstand mount. Split, wolf. Switch, back tuck. Some little form on her leaps. Bhs, layout, small wobble. Off on punch front. Switch side. Didn't see dismount.

Jordyn Pedersen, floor: Second pass: 2.5 to stag jump. Switch side. Double tuck, cowboyed. Dive roll. Nice double pike with a step back.

Victoria Kayen Woo, vault: Sat down tucked Omelianchik. Not quite enough

Emily Ponce, bars: Missed it.

Meagen Chant, beam: Back tuck. Bhs, layout. Switch, back pike. Double pike.

Annie Sheridan, floor: Missed first pass, but it was landed. Second pass ended in a full twist. Double tuck to end.

Sydney Davison, vault: Tucked Yurchenko full, landed a little low. Much better second attempt.

Kassondra Lepik, beam: Back tuck. Wobble on switch side.

Makinli Handley, floor: Good double pike. Dancing to classic rock and roll music. Double tuck to deer jump, first time I've ever seen that. Switch, tourjete half. 1.5 to punch front. 2.5 twist. She had a long wait to start this routine, and did very well.

Tiny report. I thought Rose Woo was the tiniest of the tiny here, but I just saw her and Heaven Latimer standing side by side, and they appear about the same height. Shallon Olsen, who actually hasn't even turned 10 yet, looks tinier still.

2:21 p.m.: Rotation two:

Emily Ponce, vault: Stuck Yurchenko tucked.

Kassondra Lepik, bars: Stalder, toe Shaposh, bail, toe hecht, full turn, blind, struggle on front giant but OK, double...pike?

Makinli Handley, beam: Nice bhs, layout. Switch, back tuck. Fall on 2.5 dismount.

Sydney Davison, floor: Music is Shawn Johnson's 2007 piece...Nice double pike. Good tidy 2.5 twist. Switch, switch half. 1.5 to pounch front. Good double back. Nothing wrong with that routine.

Taylor Davison, vault: Piked Tsuk. Same second vault.

Abbey Stacey, bars: Double tuck off.

Brianna Clark, beam: Bhs, layout, small check. Nice full turn with leg up. Switch, wolf, scissone. Side somie, great. Sheep. Tidy front full off. Great routine.

Ivy Lu, floor: 2.5 twist. Half twist, punch front. Looked like she could easily make that a 1.5, but there's time.

Emilie Blackner, vault: Tsuk pike second vault, nice.

Megan Sipos, bars: Toe stalder, hecht to high, full, half, double pike. This is probably not really her event.

Heaven Latimer, beam: Bhs, layout, layout, fall. Punch front. Back tuck. Switch, scissone. Sheep. Bhs, layout to two feet, falls again. Two bhs to double full.

Casey Carvalho, floor: Double pike. Good double turn. 2.5, stumble forward.

Sophie Guindon, vault: Tsuk pike, low landing.

Shallon Olsen, bars: Clear hip, stalder, toe stalder, hecht to high. Full, blind, double pike, good.

Rose Kalam Woo, beam: Punch front. Front aerial, bhs. Sode somie, great. Switch, pause, wplit, wolf. Back tuck. Roundoff, high double tuck.

Kirsten Peterman, floor: Stumble out of 2.5 opener. Front full, a little too far back in the shoulders. Double twist. I believe this piece of music is called "Yellow" -- Jaycie Phelps used a different cut of it at the 1996 Olympics.

Mariana Colussi-Pelaez, vault: Missed it.

Elise Bolger, bars: Toe hecht to high, full turn not finished in handstand, but awesome full twisting double back, stuck.

Jordyn Pedersen, beam: Punch front. Roundoff, double back, cowboyed but well landed.

Oleksandra Yermolchuk, floor: Rudi. Punch front to double full. Full turn with leg at head. Handspring, front full. Nice lines and form.

Meagen Chant, bars: Geinger, legs apart. Bail a littl eshort, piked toe hecht to high, full turn, good high open double tuck.

Annie Sheridan, beam: Press mount to middle split. Switch, back tuck. Bhs, layout. Side somie, saved it like a pro with minimal deduction. Side aerial. Split, wolf. Double tuck, a little cowboyed.

Victoria Kayen Woo, floor: "Zorba the Greek"...high double tuck. 2.5, step forward. Switch, switch side. 1.5 to punch front. Running front full.

1:45 p.m.: Rotation one:

Emilie Blackner, floor: Hit routine.

Megan Sipos, vault: Yurchenko layout with good block and height. Same second vault, with a step back.

Shallon Olsen: In a long-sleeved ice blue leotard today. Like Rose Kalam Woo, Shallon is tinier than anyone on the floor. Handspring front to great landing.

Sophie Guindon, floor: 1.5. Layout. Lovely music, obviously from a ballet. Sophie does the Anna Pavlov move where she fold into a back walkover from her knees.

Toe stalder, toe stalder to high, full turn, bail, sole circle to high, blind, little leg separation on front giant, goregous double front with legs glued together, small step. Nice routine!

Elise Bolger, vault: Very good Yurchenko full.

Casey Carvalho, beam: Bhs, layout. She might hjave done something into the bhs, but I didn't see it. Wolf, split. Side aerial. Very nice double full off.

Heaven Latimer, bars: Full twisting double back dismount.

Kristen Peterman, beam: Two falls. 1.5 twisting dismount.

Rose Kalam Woo, bars: Full turn, blind, double front.

Oleksandra Yermolchuk, beam: Front aerial, wobble. Back tuck, fall. Side aerial. Bhs, bhs. Double twist.

Jordyn Pedersen, bars: Stalder, full, Pak. Toe hecht, blind Markelov, double layout. Little bits of form on her hand changes, but an ambitious routine for sure.

1:46 p.m.: Announcement. Earlier this week I inadvertently wrote that tickets for this Canadian National championship were sold out for the last three nights of competition. NOT TRUE! If you're in or around Kamloops and want to see some beautiful gymnastics at the Tournament Capital Centre at Thompson Rivers University, tickets are still available!

The venue is beautiful and the gymnastics has been so far as well. It won't break the bank to come out here, either -- the most expensive tickets are $15, and there are discounts depending on age. Kids under six get in free.

This gymnastics public service announcement will be repeated a few times throughout the weekend. Think of it as a blog commercial. Onwards.

KAMLOOPS, B.C., 1:41 p.m.: Welcome to Examiner.com's live coverage of the 2010 Canadian Championships, High Performance Novice women's finals. I'll be blogging this competition live all afternoon, so please check back often!
