ROTTERDAM -- Gymnasts who are interested in pursuing a performing career with the excellent Cirque du Soleil have the chance to meet with Cirque acrobatic talent scouts Stacy Clark and Philippe Agogué here at the World Championships.
Cirque has set up shop with a booth in the training gym at the Ahoy Arena all week, and beautiful advertisements of Cirque's performances have been playing on the big screen at the Ahoy between competitions.
More than half of Cirque's on-stage performers have a gymnastics background, and they draw their talent from around the world. Among the gymnasts to have worked for Cirque are Olympians Isabelle Severino, Brandon O'Neill, Kristen Maloney, Elise Ray, Yelena Grosheva and many, many more. American Raj Bhavsar recently announced his intention to join Cirque as well.
Clark can be contacted at stacyclark@cirquedusoleil.com, for those who are interested in setting up meetings. More information is also available at www.cirquedusoleil.com/jobs.
