The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that they have agreed to terms with goaltender Billy Sauer for the 2010-2011 season.

Warren has always had a great love for sports, particularly hockey. As a young man he played on hockey teams in Detroit, Michigan. Going to high school across from Olympia Stadium he had the opportunity to meet many Hall of Fame players. He and his friends became particularly close to Bryan" Bugsy" Watson, then a Detroit Red Wings player. After graduating from high school he attended Western Michigan University. Shaw majored in Public Administration and became a staff writer for the campus newspaper. After graduating Warren went to work for Ford Motor Company and also wrote freelance sports articles for several newspapers and magazines. Shaw currently writes for Center Ice Magazine.com and Bleacher Report. He also is a member of the board of directors for The Society of North American Hockey Historians and Researchers (SONAHHR) and was recognized as a FutureIndustry Leader by the Newspaper Association of America (NAA).
