Should Naomi Campbell push for 'gun control' or self control?

  (Jeff Christensen/Associated Press)

A report of "supermodel" Naomi Campbell expressing her anger through violence is once more making news. From Kathryn Brown, CBS 2 HD News:

Campbell is accused of slapping her New York City driver. He said she then jumped out of the car and fled.

Ah, another rich, powerful celebrity showing enlightened solidarity with the working class. But I said "once more." What's up with that?

From Colin Monynihan at The New York Times:

...Naomi Campbell...was charged with assaulting her housekeeper with a telephone...the housekeeper, Ana Scolavino, 41, was struck in the back of the head by the telephone. She was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital, where she received four staples for a gash...

And we learn that was not the first time Campbell has taken her rage out on the help:

In 1998, she was arrested by the police in Toronto and charged with assaulting an assistant.

Her lawyer proclaimed her innocence. Campbell pleaded guilty.

And there have been subsequent reports of "verbal and physical abuse."

Mail Online tells us:

In the past eight years, Campbell has been accused eight times of committing acts of violence and verbal abuse against her employees and associates.

Oh, and did I mention her being "charged with assaulting a police officer at London's Heathrow airport"...?

Which makes it interesting that Ms. Campbell lent her name to the magazine Marie-Claire's anti-gun efforts, when they "asked celebrities...to join us in our campaign for sensible gun laws."

Hey, if you want gun laws that make sense, who better to ask than noted experts like Susan Sarandon, Heidi Klum, Sting...

It may explain why Campbell joins with other media luminaries in support of Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez. I understand he also wants "sensible gun laws." For the proletariat, of course.

What it doesn't explain is why she feels the need to "artistically" express her rage at being discriminated against—ostensibly because of her race—with guns. Click here and watch.

That's "sensible"?

Leaving aside the obvious fact that most of us struggling "little people"—the kind she apparently feels compelled to disarm and slap around—can only dream of the fabulous material riches and rewards such "discrimination" has brought her, we're still left with two essential questions:

Why is it creatures like Naomi Campbell, who apparently can't—or won't—control themselves, insist that the government impose controls on those of us who can and do?

And at what point do those being abused turn around and knock their tormentors on their a...?

The warrior's code

Mike Searson has stepped into the ring as the Reno Martial Arts Examiner. From his bio we learn he's "been a longtime student of fighting and martial arts. His lifelong study of fighting and the warrior's code has brought him success as a Marine, a martial artist, a firearms instructor, and even in politically correct Corporate America."

Trigger Sports LIVE!

I'll be on American Trigger Sports Network again today. The program starts at Noon, PST.

Host James B. Towle and I plan on briefly discussing yesterday's activity at the Supreme Court, and also talking about a defenseless woman killed in a "no guns" zone.

Assuming my dang computer doesn't crash in mid-sentence, like it did last week... Anyway, we tested connections on Monday and we'll test them again before the show, so perhaps we'll make it though without mishap this time.

Why not find out? Click here to watch.

Perhaps Ms. Campbell wouldn't be so quick to abuse the help if even one of them had bent her front teeth. I know I would have. Same with the fairy from Oz, throw a phone at me, be prepared for reversed charges. Wanting to keep my job won't save you.

Never had a job worth my pride or manhood. Don't expect there are any. At least, not for real men.

Amen, MamaL. I usually talk about men and manhood because I can't actually pass the physical to legitimately claim the right to speak for women. It isn't that I am not aware, it is that I don't wish to presume.

She wants us disarmed so she can slap us around, because SHE SAID SO, OKAY? She's the wunderkind super people and we're not, OKAY? Gosh, like don't you people get it! Actually, I wish she'd slap me a couple of times, that kind of stuff always amuses me. Of course, I can't be responsible for that RCOB.

Her inner rage is knowing that she is on the washed up side of her chosen field of endeavor. She got by on looks and luck and never actually had to develop a personality. She'll get bitch-slapped eventually and I hope it's a real good one or five.
