The December 2009 issue of Guns Magazine is out, and it includes my column "Will Feds Kill 'Firearms Freedom Act'?"
We've talked about this several times here at Gun Rights Examiner, and colleague Daniel White recently told us of similar efforts in Ohio.
While I encourage you to get a physical copy of the magazine either from newsstands or by subscribing, you can access columns and departments from the magazine's website. They also post the entire magazine online as a digital edition, which is really cool, but I wouldn't recommend it for those of you without high speed access or who still use old pull-start computers.
And don't forget to enter the Gun of the Month contest. The December issue features a Kimber Ultra CDP II .45 ACP, but there is still time to enter for November's S&W i-Bolt .270 and October's Savage .30-06 With Bushnell Scope.

An Oregon "Only One"
Oregon Firearms Federation introduces us to a sheriff exhibiting classic elitist mentality by calling gun owners who want to protect themselves "paranoid." He's still armed, mind you, but then, he's a highly trained professional "Only One."

Let's hope he doesn't burst a blood vessel when he sees their rifle raffle.

Whatis the Constitutional Authority for the proposed Firearms Freedom Act now under discussion?
10th Amendment--did you read the links?
The question, more appropriately is, what Constitutional authority do the feds have to prohibit it?
Got something to say?
