Let me tell you why I watch FOX News. It’s not only the Hosts who talk, but the Guests who answer questions and then compound the felony. Beyond the insults to gun owners and brave constituents who are willing to meet officials, there are many other nuggets of insight all around.
First, on The O’Reilly Factor, Bill Or'Reilly's health care expert from the AARP was legislative policy director David Certner answering Bill. As of last night, August 10, 2009, AARP spokes Certner indicated that is more than one bill, such as HR 3200. Are our Congress Critters answering questions depending on the Bill they have in mind when asked? Are they so chicanerous and mendacious? Are they so prevaricating? That means are they lying? Are we wasting our time dwelling on HR 3200?
From the Factor website’s transcript of the interview of AARP spokes Mr. Certner was asked by Bill: "If you were in Congress Mr. Certner, right now, would you vote on it? Would you say I want this bill, as confused and as chaotic as it is would you say yes?" Certner pointed out that there was no final bill yet, but rather four bills that still needed to be combined. "There's a lot of pieces in these bills we like. And quite frankly, there were some we're not particularly fond of."
Amazing. I’m amazed. Are you amazed to learn there are four bills?
Second, there is the response of regular Hannity guest Bob Beckel, democrat strategist. Last night, Beckel said that he knows the Conservatives are stacking the deck by embedding hecklers because he himself did it when working for Bill Clinton.
Ladies and gentlemen, at no time in the history of our sovereignty has our sovereignty been under attack more by our very own servants.
It’s time to realize that the left will say and do anything not for care or cost, but for control, and this worries me. They are behaving as if there is some deadline we do not know about, almost as if they have to get out of Dodge before then.
Whatever it is, it is perfectly consistent with the cold-blooded disarmament of citizens while at the same time planning on early release of more than 40,000 prisoners. (According to most reports of early release, it is because they cannot take medical care of them!!)
Most people cannot understand how cold officials can be when it comes to gun control as if gun control were some sort of even-handed, neutral concept, but they sure can grasp the concept of the cold-blooded when they see Health Care Reform, abandonment, indifference to independence, and end-of-life counseling.
My suggestion is to stop inquiring of officials, and to instruct them. Stop asking questions, and just instruct them to stop.

This column and its commenters are basically an echo chamber. They can't engage with someone with a different point of view. They don't answer questions about their position. So who should care what they say?
