Safer Streets 2010: More shootings and challenging government?? Part I.

Tens of millions of gun owners generally suspect news coverage of criminal shootings when reports seem timed to surround pending gun laws or second amendment court wins. So far this year, and the week of August 6th wasn't much different, we see several reports of criminal shootings stating that the shooter was trying to overthrow the government.

If that is indeed the case here in America, why hasn't it happened already? Because it already happened once, and that one time when our freedoms were purchased then is enough to secure our rights today and always. That is, when the servant obeys the laws. The current squabble is that it is they who are breaking the laws, not we.

With more than 300 million guns in the hands now of some 90 million adult citizens, why hasn't it already happened a second time?

It is because of a values system, our way of life. Though we have documented remarks of our public servants who seem to want to provoke gun owners and liberty purists into violence, it is not likely. Why not? Because, for the love of what we have in safety, freedom and trust of one another this way, the only way to preserve what we have in due process is to live due process. The only way for the left to survive is to destroy due process, and recruiting our help in that is not likely.

Reports of gun violence attributed to those who allegedly hate government sound suspicious and do not pass the test of reasonable expectation. The left does not understand a middle-right people. (Or maybe they do.) Accusations of hate, anger and violence seem to be plentiful enough, and when found not to be accurate when the investigations are concluded, they seem to have served their purpose nevertheless.

There is a second and third reason. See Part II.

There is no need to overthrow the government with force. We have the vote. It's far more powerful than any gun. We will throw these politicans, who are a national security threat, out of office by voting them out. We need to replace them with Independents who ONLY answer to the people who elected them, not some party boss.

Given the current administrations waltzing all over the Constitution, BOR, etc, what makes you think that they won't monkey with the votes in Nov.? And what makes you think voting is going to do any good? They keep doing whatever they want, and we keep playing the same old dumb game.
