Arkansas State Capitol
This Supreme Court ruling is binding on all states and local governments, and immediately renders some of Wisconsin’s current laws unconstitutional. Therefore, in keeping with my oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, I hereby declare that this office will no longer accept law enforcement referrals for violations of the following statutes:Section 167.31, prohibiting uncased or loaded firearms in vehicles;Section 941.23, prohibiting the carrying of concealed weapons, including firearms;Section 941.235, prohibiting the possession of firearms in public buildings;Section 941.237, prohibiting the possession of firearms in establishments where alcohol may be sold or served; and,Section 941.24, prohibiting the possession of knives that open with a button, or by gravity, or thrust, or movement.
Let freedom ring.
It's an additional layer of protection in Arkansas, but it's more applicable in states that do not have a constitutional right to keep and bear arms in their state constitution the way we do~ Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel
Arkansas has some pretty good gun laws, really, There's no outright prohibitions on anything other than what federal law states.~ Arkansas Concealed Carry Association spokesman John Anderson
- Arkansas currently prohibits the carry of handguns for self-defense unless a “gun tax” (CHCL license fee) is paid to the state.
- The carry of firearms is completely banned on federal lands by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission through bogus “game laws”.
- Many Arkansas workers are banned from storing handguns on employer parking lots, thereby disarming them when traveling to and from work.
- All Arkansas churchgoers are prevented from exercising their Second Amendment rights due to restrictive laws.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
The citizens of this State shall have the right to keep and bear arms, for their common defense.

And here I thought it was Missouri that was as stubborn as a mule. Well, I guess the feds better get their lawyers busy and start suing the state to make it mend it's ways. The folks down there should flood the federal building demanding the feds protect their rights under the court decision. the people of Arkansas should start getting some return on all those federal tax dollars they fork over every year.
Texas is not much better. We have been fighting the right to carry to and from work with out reprisals from the employer for keeping the firearm stored in the car for the last six years. Maybe next year will be different, however I doubt it.
The only way all this Horse s--t about where you can or can not carry your legally owed firearm can be stopped is when our Supreme Court Justices get enough BALLS to put some of these officials in jail for Contemp Of Court. The Constitution gives us that right, no if, ands, buts, or maybes. We Have That Right As Citizens.
Sue the state like GeorgiaCarry.org is for church carry.
Steve the Arkansas ban is illegal not because of McDonald but because of the 2a its self.
Yes I know Im speaking to the choir on this because the court is playing some game of incorporation
We have allowed our public servants to assume an authority and jurisdiction that they have NO right to have.
It is these continued colorable actions by the Court and our servants that have brought this nation to its knees and until the People of the USA stand up and reassert their authority and jurisdiction Nothing will change
