A change in Texas law removed the duty to notify law enforcement that you are carrying a concealed firearm, and issue relevant to Ohio since we currently have such a requirement.

#3 Stop treating CHL holders as potential criminals

#2 Support the Second Amendment and you're not a 'leader'
A story certain to draw the ire of grassroots gun rights activists and any Second Amendment supporter took a look at the claims of some gun control advocates who were insinuating that politicians who support gun rights are not being leaders.
#1 Do we need guns in National Parks?
The issue of guns in National Parks hit the trifecta in the Top Ten with this article from November coming in at #1. In this article, I criticized former journalist and current blogger Todd Wilkinson for an article he wrote in which he argued against dropping the ban. Things got even more interesting when Mr. Wilkinson showed up to defend his opinions.

Comments
Dan, I agree #1 - guns in national parks was a great story. But... where is my comment on seeing a bear in the Cuyahoga National Park in Brecksville at Riverview Road? I assure you - I want my gun with me and not at home in the gun safe.
