The Disclose Act goes against the one thing Wyomingites cherish even more than guns, PRIVACY.
Aside from that, letting the political elite decide how we can exercise the First Amendment can never be a good thing for us.
The “Corrupted Political Class” in Washington are pushing to make law that tells you how, when and what you can say. But it doesn’t stop there, most alarming is the fact that they “WANT YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS as well.
The NRA has broken all the rules on this, their defense is "that they are a single issue group" and by their own testimony they are willing to compromise on the First Amendment, the very thing we use the most to defend the Second Amendment.
Of course this compromise by the NRA is so obvious to many, a SELL-OUT making a "Kill Free Speech Deal" with the most progressive legislators in American history. How do you spell - “Gun-Grabbers”?
But here is what is most important --
We must stand for principle even when it is inconvenient.
Don’t believe the lie from the Establishment that the NRA has become a part of, the First Amendment doesn’t belong to any group or special class of Citizen.
This compromise by the NRA could be the single most piece of evidence proving the NRA is on the sell-out path. They have continually compromised and now out in the open crossed over, making deals with gun grabbers.
Similarities to European Socialism--
A "compromising" government/lobby relationship in Europe has lead to laws requiring that you must be a card holding member of the national gun organization like the NRA to purchase, own and even use your own firearm when hunting or at a gun range.
Could it be, is this the same anti-gun socialistic path we are on?
Did I mention that “European Anti-Gun” countries had socialized health-care years ago?
I believe the same "Constitution Haters" that have revealed themselves in D.C. have also infiltrated the NRA. All evidence points to this - the NRA has become much like the government it lobbies, self preserving at all cost.
Since the First Amendment is crucial to us in defending the Second Amendment and for that matter any and all rights, we have now come to a cross roads revealing the importance of the Bill of Rights and the battle we are in to restore and defend it. If we are to win we must no longer play "Constitutional Cafeteria" with the Bill of Rights.
Cancel your NRA membership and join organizations that WILL NOT COMPROMISE.

Of course the NRA doesn't want any part of the Disclosure act. Especially if they are excluded.
It doesn't matter that they are willing to throw many other gun rights organizations under the bus.
The NRA claims that they represent their membership. BS, they represent the NRA and the mob at the top.
I have to agree with Anthony in that the NRA has sold the gun owners of America out in my opinion. The Marriott issue, the disclose act, repeated reports of muzzling their own people on the Kagen confirmation hearings, and joining lawsuits late in the game all spell politics to me. If we just had the same gun rights that existed when our forefathers wrote the Bill of Rights we would not need the NRA or anyone else. But there are power grabbers and Americans delegated that power of control to our representatives. A tragic mistake we are paying for now as we fight for our rights again and stave off bad court decisions. People are waking up to the NRA and they are not liking what they are seeing. But they do not have to fight about it. They can simply and quietly withhold dues, resign memberships, and while still members refuse to donate or vote for current leaders. They should be come active locally and let's take back America one community at a time working to restore local control.
GR, you lie. It is obvious to any thinking man what NRA has done, both historically over recent decades and immediately as regards "Disclose".
Now saying you lied is harsh,so I give you the option. You can admit to utter stupidity and be honestly wrong, or you lie. Your choice. There are no others possible under the circumstances.

Obama’s support of the DISCLOSE Act confirmed what many Americans believed; that Obama and certain Democrats in Congress intend to strangle the flow of information. If Obama and his leftists associations get their way, our Children will be brainwashed by Obama’s one-sided propaganda at school, through Obama controlled Radio, TV and Obama media policies that restrict the free flow of information. Historically when communists attempted or took over a country, one of their first steps was to control the media and all forms of public communications to control Civilian populations.
