NRA gives Senator Reid more praise - enough already!

Recently we witnessed an NRA affiliate - the Wyoming State Shooting Association (WSSA) expose themselves as an ineffective organization.

On a national level it’s not much different, Senator Reid realizing he is facing an uphill battle for re-election has decided to act as if he is pro-gun, and the NRA sure is providing political cover for him. See article - With Tea Party in town, Harry Reid helps open shooting park from the Las Vegas Sun.

NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre was on hand to celebrate the grand opening of a new $61 million shooting range in Nevada. But most alarming was that Senator Harry Reid was there at LaPierre’s side as if Reid has been a lifetime supporter of the Second Amendment.

While most of us want the "Socialist" Senator Reid thrown out of office, the NRA is doing their best to keep him firmly planted.

Apparent message from the NRA:

“Help us build a gun range and we will look the other way and work hard to get you re-elected Senator Reid”.

Need I say any more about these “Political Ass Kissers”?

Everyone should stop giving money to groups that have become part of the problem and join organizations that have take a NO COMPROMISE approach like state level Wyoming Gun Owners (WyGO) or on the national level, Gun Owners of America (GOA), National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR) or Jews for the Preservation of Firearms (JPFO).

When the NRA first trumpeted this in an email alert all I could say was "You have got to be kidding."

Like I said at the 10A meeting in Sheridan, the NRA sells out gun owners seemingly at every turn. Have they done anything right? Sure, and just like a broken clock they are correct twice a day...

From what I understand, Reid has always been good on guns, though maybe that's only because he's Nevada's Senator. But he sure has shown his Marxist streak in all other areas.

Where's the guy who always jumps in to say how proud he is to be a lifetime member of the NRA? He never offers to refute the following statement: The NRA has its fingerprints on every piece of federal gun-control legislation since 1968. I'm not anti-NRA. They do some great things (eg. the Eddy Eagle program). I just wish the NRA leaders weren't so willing to compromise with sleazy politicos on anti-gun laws. Stop sending dues money and see how fast they'll clean up their act.

I am confused; is Mr. Reid in fact not "pro gun"?

Yes, as an NRA member, this makes me cringe. But the NRA is not a satellite of the GOP. Their charter says they support those who support the Second Amendment... Regardless of political affiliation.

I don't like what the NRA did, but I have to respect it.

Has the NRA done anything RIGHT??? Oh, for the love of GOD! Go back in time to the Jimmy Carter years and try to buy a gun or get a Concealed Carry permit. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! The NRA has done and AMAZING job of eroding nuisance laws and barriers to Second Amendment freedoms.

Just because they don't hate Dems as much as you do doesn't mean they are not kicking butt at their chartered mission.

The NRA had BETTER walk softly & think verrrrry carefully going into this election...

This country is FED UP with "moderates" & moderate causes believing in half the constitution -willing to sell-off the 'other' half beause "they" woke up & simply deem it "not that important"! Thats actually worse than LIB EXTREMISM.

The GRASSROOTS Movement in this country is solid. STAND TALL & be a solid part of it. Support only those who do as well - regardless of PARTY-AFFILIATION!!! HARRY REID IS PURE SOCIALIST SCUM. Shame on the moderate NRA for even shaking HANDs with this sac o' *%@#...

Thats like shaking hands with HITLER because he donated for a new community Park.

Answer to: "Is Reid Pro-Gun?" - Reid did vote against AWB in 93 but in 99 he voted YES on Regulation at gun shows. DOESN'T SOUND LIKE A STRONG 2A SUPPORTER, DOES IT? Reid is a master at manipulating votes, even trading votes with others in safer seats. This is how the political machine continues to pass gun control, on both sides of the isle. (Dems and Rep)

The NRA ( National Rifle Association) has consistently compromised on our second amendment rights. This page is for pro 2nd amendment citizens who are tired of the NRA selling out!
