On Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 you will have the chance to change history in Massachusetts by sending the first Republican to the U.S. Senate since what appears to be 1979. Given what’s been going on in Washington D.C. lately with so-called “Healthcare Reform”, “Global Warming”, “Cap & Trade”, along with huge increases in deficit spending we need to send a clear message to the current administration, the House and especially the Senate – yet another “shot heard round the world”.

That “shot” will be propelling Scott Brown into the U.S. Senate where he will begin to send the strong clear message that we will not tolerate any further infringements upon our civil rights or our wallets.

Scott Brown and I began working together in early 2007 on Sportsman’s issues here in Massachusetts. He was always responsive, cordial, and genuinely interested in hearing what his constituents had to say.

When I was first the Secretary and later the President of the Norfolk County League of Sportsmen we invited Scott Brown to dinner at the Norwood Sportsmen’s Club in Norwood; an invitation that took a bit of scheduling to accomplish due to his military service and Senate duties at the time, but he graciously accepted. During that conversation he agreed to do all he could in support of our Second Amendment Rights, but gently reminded us that we too had a lot of work ahead of us to gather the strength in numbers required and act as one voice on Beacon Hill.

In a recent letter to the Gun Owners Action League and all Massachusetts Sportsmen and Women in Massachusetts Scott Brown tells us in his own words of his support of the Second Amendment and his views on Government and I reprint that now for those of you who are not currently GOAL members receiving the Outdoor Message:

I support the Second Amendment and believe that citizens have the right to legally keep and bear arms as a basic constitutional liberty and have been an advocate for safe and responsible gun ownership. Massachusetts already has the toughest gun regulations in the country and I have consistently worked with Gun Owners' Action League (GOAL) and other groups to oppose further unnecessary, redundant and possibly unconstitutional laws on sportsmen of the Commonwealth.

Sportsmen are great stewards of our land and I strongly support this culture of responsibility. As a State Senator, I have supported common-sense environment policy to reduce pollution and preserve our precious open spaces. I realize that every step we take today to safeguard the land, the air and the water preserves and enhances our Nation's resources for those who follow.

America is a great country but we also have some challenges that we need to solve if we're going to remain the world's superpower. The most important of our challenges is getting the U.S. economy moving again. People are hurting as they struggle to make ends meet. They're worried about their future, and that of their children and grandchildren. I want to ensure that we leave them an America that is financially stronger and independent: minus a national debt that we can never repay.

I am a free enterprise advocate who believes that lower taxes can encourage economic growth. Raising taxes and bigger government stifles growth, weakens the economy and puts more people out of work. Our economy works best when individuals have more of their income to spend, and businesses have money to invest and add jobs. I have been a fiscal watchdog in the state legislature fighting bigger government, higher taxes and wasteful spending.

This Senate seat doesn't belong to any one person, or political party. It belongs to you, the people, and the people deserve a U.S. senator who will always put your interests first. We have 11 other elected officials who vote the same way and take their orders from the same special interests. As a State Senator I worked across party lines and as your U.S. Senator I will never take my orders from the special interests or from the Washington insiders who think they know what's good for Massachusetts.

With your support and your vote, I'm confident we will prevail.

Despite it's recent 'Blue' heritage, don't let anyone tell you your vote doesn't count in Massachusetts.  Get out and vote for Scott Brown on Tuesday, January 19th or better yet volunteer to help.

I have never heard such excitment around town as I have heard the last few days about the Scott Brown race! My Democrat, Republican and Independent friends all like this guy and think he has a real chance on Jan 19th! Just 30 days ago it seemed they had all given up hope! What's Up?

What's up is the guy is a living, breathing non-automaton that believes that individual rights trump socialism. He has always been a straight shooter, and got a good amount of air time on conservative radio over the years. Martha, on the other hand, is on vacation this week, because she thinks she has already won. Martha is known for keeping an innocent man, his mother, and sister in jail for years after everyone else knew they were innocent. She also spends a lot of time looking dour and unhappy, and claims that she has saved the taxpayers hundreds of millions -- when in actuality, she reaps large campaign contributions from large contractors, and prosecutes the little guy for the big guys crimes. I'll take Lt. Col. Scott Brown anyday over the dour little sourpus.

What you can read about at MittRomneyCentral dot com was a huge boon for the Brown campaign. If anyone knows what it takes to win as a conservative in Massachusetts, it's Mitt Romney and his supporters. I have to admit, I'm getting excited about this race!

This is a very exciting race. Finally a no nonsense candidate that hears the american people who do not want to send another big spender to WA. We are Taxed enough already and need to reduce the national debt, not go on another spending spree. Go Scott Brown!

I am desperately reaching out to you and you will not only expose unscrupulous business practices by AG Martha Coakley but also numerous other state departments and I am good friends with one of Sen Ted Kenneddy's top people. We tried to go thru the right offices and now with the election a few days away I can ruin AG and I have a comlete paper trail of all our documents and a journal of every file we have complained to. A-Z and one night of reading and AG Coakley and state agencies under her will be exposed like never before. All the research is done I just need an ethical person to come and look over the facts. The fox has been guarding the henhouse for too long You will be amazed at the amount of proof and fact that destroy her and every agency shr covered for. All my documents are in chronolical order and by years. I have tried calling all investigative reorters but if they are on her side of course they won,t take the case. I want you personally to see for yourself. I think this0

Unions, wonderful in their time. Unions, terrible in these time.
Good union members and there are many are penalized by the slouches, who free ride and a lot of these are union stewards.
Imagine, this health care issue currently taxing non union members 40% and nothing for union members. UNBELIEVABLE
BLATANT DISCRIMINATION. GO SCOTT GOD BLESS YOU
