The producers of design competition show Project Runway have already begun casting for season 8 -- before season 7 has aired its finale.
According to Zap2it.com, Bunim Murray Productions is accepting videos from budding clothing designers who want to appear on Project Runway to show that they have what it takes to be a top designer and face the scrutiny of Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum for the chance at $100,000 and a showcase at New York Fashion Week.
Wannabes can enter at the production company's website, but you had better hurry -- entries are only being taken until April 27, 2010.
Season 7 wraps up on April 22 at 10/9c, with designers Emilio Sosa, Mila Hermanovski, and Seth Aaron Henderson entering the frantic world of the runway, and the stress is high. Guest judge Faith Hill also will appear.
Project Runway currently airs Thursdays at 10/9c on Lifetime.

Comments
First, there's a difference between making constructive criticism and just making nasty comments with no ideas to make "it" better. Come on, judges. Let's be adult and not teenager catty.
Secondly, a large market has been ignored in the challenges so far. That is plus size women. They like fashionable and well-made clothes, too. Instead of ignoring us, help us to package our bodies better. The competing designers did a great job for maternity clothes; now I'd like to see a challenge for big women.
