Class is back in session at television's most famous zip code as the redux of 90210 returns for it's second season.
If you missed out on last season thinking it was just a rehash of the original with tired story lines about losing virginity and meanie boyfriends, think again -- this ain't your father's Peach Pit. This cast is nastier, naughtier, cattier, shows way more skin, and -- if I may say it -- are a lot more fun than their 90s counterparts.
AnnaLynne McCord (pictured) perfected the spoiled rich girl persona during a season arc on Nip/Tuck two years ago, and in my opinion she is reason enough to tune in.
The CW teases with this about the new season:
Season two of 90210 focuses on our group as they begin their all-important Junior year. They'll go through all the ordinary teenage struggles and triumphs - crushes, sexual discovery, academic pressure, evolving friendships, shunning and isolation, love and relationships, family issues, SATs, STDs, a desire to fit in, a desire to stand out, fear and humiliation, joy and exultation -- but they'll do so in the extraordinary world of LA
Phew! And to make it even better, everything old is new again as immediately following 90210 is the premiere of Melrose Place, putting the shows back-to-back just like their originals were. Ah, everything is once again right with the world.
