Vodka with the ultimate MMMmmm factor
The Mom-tini is a cocktail that I recommend after a long day of chores and family responsibilities. Knowing that all carpools are finished, everyone is home and safe, a guilty pleasure and quick jolt from creamy tasting, caffeine related alcoholic beverage keeps the night running smoothly. Ready to take on dinner, a bit of laughter when your lighter on your feet sets a good tone.
I am absoultely in love with Van Gogh Double Espresso Vodka (70 proof from Holland). Enjoy this double caffeinated vodka on the rocks. It is sippable. Rich and slightly thick with a full bodies espresso flavor when paired with Kalhua (from Mexico), it is a match made in heaven! The Kahlua's dark, nuttiness with hints of rum, caramel and vanilla compliments Van Gogh's flavor and balances out this Mom-tini cocktail.
For an added pleasure, Mom-tini can be blended in a blender with ice, 1/2 cup of premium vanilla ice cream (I like Blue Bunny) and 1 ounce of Absolute Vanilla for the Ultimate Spiked Milkshake.
Mom-tini
Makes 1 cocktail
- 1/2 cup Vincent Van Gogh Double Espresso Vodka
- 1/4 cup Kahlua liquer
Over ice, stir together Van Gogh Vodka and Kahlua
Strain out liquors to a martini glass that are rimmed with lightly sweetened cocoa
