Our mission is simple; to provide lighting and sustainability decision makers with LED lighting solutions that can replace and outperform their existing general lighting needs in energy savings, durability, life, and practicality. We present our clients with money saving, low maintenance, solid state lighting solutions for a wide range of lighting applications.
The Designers Lighting Forum of New York is committed to exploring and presenting the power of lighting in design. Founded in 1934, the Designers Lighting Forum is a not-for-profit organization, led by a volunteer Board of Managers and sustained by member dues and the generous support of our corporate sponsors. We enthusiastically provide designers, architects, manufacturers and their representatives, contractors, educators, and students the opportunity to meet and experience the wonder of lighting in New York City and beyond.
DLF/NY is a dynamic organization. Each year, we present stimulating monthly meetings and other events of interest to the design professional. (See calendar and recent events.) We welcome the active participation of all our members and their suggestions for future meetings.
We support formal lighting education through contributions to local universities and design schools as well as national funds.
