Garry is a married father of four from Corona, Calif. He holds Unlimited Steam Engineer and Facilities Engineer licenses from the City of Los Angeles and the American Society of Power Engineers, respectively. Garry started his professional career in the United States Navy; then subsequently gained employment with an electric power utility and independent power producer.
