Wisdom Teacher Sophia speaks on how to take action toward healing the earth right now.
MR: I'm often exploring how our own self-love also helps Gaia to be a more whole, healed planet. And besides taking action, it's good to notice how humanity's relationship with the earth is a reflection, and to try to heal the Litterbug, for example, from within. Sophia, what might you add to that?
Sophia: Yes, well, the first thing that's very exciting is the realization that as we shift, that we are helping the planet to shift. So right away, I want to confirm that as you clean up your own act, what happens is you send out that message. It is like each and every one of us is a cell phone tower. We are sending out frequencies for others to pick up on and make their own phone call. So as we clean up our own Litterbug, as we clean up our own act, we are literally sending that message out to humans and to, let's say, the planet all at the same time. So, we are sending the message to Gaia, we are promoting a clean self, and in doing that, we are opening up a dialogue or a relationship with Mother Earth, and as we clean up our own act, we are encouraging other people to do so, not by saying it, but by feeling it.
Feeling good, not preachy
So what happens is, as we look at "How can we be greener?" --And let's ask the question, what does that mean? How can we be healthier. So how can we eat greater food, right? More natural food. Less processed food. How do we make sure that the food is not filled with chemicals?
And even as we have that conversation in our mind: we are going to choose organic; we are going to begin to research how can we promote organic food, from that place of "I feel better when I eat it," "I feel less bogged down"--because what we are doing when we are cleaning up that inner Litterbug, we are cleaning up that sense of being toxic, that we are taking in toxic energy, so then we tend to put out toxic energy.
So if we look at food as the starting point, we begin to see: as we put clear and clean food into our bodies, all the actions we take in the world are motivated from clear and clean perspectives.
Start with little actions
So it is really self-referential. How we clear and clean up our act is we begin with clearing our little actions in the world. How do we make sure that the food we take in is clear and clean? How do we make sure that the air that we are breathing is clean and clear? How do we make sure that the clothes we are putting on our body is clean and clear--it's not filled with chemicals and toxins?
So right away, we reference self, and we know what to do when we reference self. We have a clear understanding: I have control over what I eat. I have control, somewhat, of the air I breathe in. Maybe I can look at air filtration systems. Maybe I can make sure that I'm not in environments where people are smoking often. I can make sure that, if I live in an area like Los Angeles, how do I get to the ocean more, how do I research ways that I can make sure that the air I'm breathing is clearer and cleaner, the clothes, all of these things are things that are in our own power.
And when we begin to feel that we ourselves have power: "I have made changes; I am now wearing organic clothing; I am now taking in organic food; I am now breathing clearer air"--from that place, we're going to start to share ourselves. Not from a place that says, "all of those that don't eat organic food are bad; all of those that don't wear organic clothing are bad." You start sharing the benefits-- "As I eat this food, I am feeling wonderful. Let me cook you a meal that's all organic."
No more should-ing
So, it's not saying "should," "You should do this." Your perspective changes, and you share from a place of, "I feel healthy, I feel well, I feel in balance." And as you share the truth of taking into your body clean and clear energy, whether that be food, water, clothing that is on your body, intaking thoughts that are clean and clear, you begin to out-put with that clear and clean vibrational frequency. And in doing that, people no longer feel that preachy thing that most people are resistant to when it comes to the green act, the green movement.
What happens when most people hear, "Go green," there is a natural resistance that, let's say the collective, or the public, puts up, because they feel someone is should-ing them. (And it brings us back to when we were children and people telling us what to do. And it brings us back to that moment when we went to college, and we moved away from home and there were no more shoulds! To that freedom of "I have my own choice.")
So really, the one thing that I can give to all of your readers, is as you clear up and clean up your Litterbug, you're going to clean up that should-ness. And in doing that, you're going to start to be the advocate, the teacher, the person that shares that clean perspective from a place that no longer is infused with should.
It is infused with passion, with clarity; with wanting to gift to others this sacred feeling of intaking that which is clear and clean.
You are a natural motivator
And, I didn't completely answer the question, but I opened the dialogue on: start with Self, and as you clean up your own act, you will offer that clear perspective to the world, and that's the natural motivator for the world wanting to clean up its act. When you share that organic meal, when you gift that organic clothing to someone--not in should, but in, "Let me share with you what I have learned." In that place, that is when the collective desires to learn. That collective says, "Why do you look so radiant today, Marie?" And I use you as an example, for you're a great example of this. For you have cleared things up in your body, and your story is powerful, as is many people's stories, that pursue the green lifestyle, if they share it from "I feel much better."
Instead of standing on the soapbox, stand down with your friends, your family, and share how your life has shifted and changed because of clearing out that inner Litterbug, that because sometimes we have toxic thoughts, we have toxic ideas, we tend to take in toxins: we smoke cigarettes, we drink an abundance of alcohol; in relationships too, how we think about ourselves and the people around us.
The body takes in what the mind is playing
So when you decide, "I'm going to clear up my toxic, Litterbug mind," you begin to clear up that toxic, Litterbug body that is only taking in what the mind is playing in the world. When we think toxic thoughts, that's when we take in toxins in the world, because our thoughts bring our bodies to that level that says, "Let's match." Our minds, our bodies, our emotions want to be in the same energy at the same time. So what happens is, if the mind is thinking toxic thoughts, the body will say, "Well, I have to match that." The emotions will match that (too).
So, once you clear up one of those, whether it's starting with the body: "I'm going to now intake only clear things," The mind will want to join. The emotion will want to join. So now we want to, let's say, choose one realm. Maybe it's an emotional realm, maybe it's the physical realm, maybe it's the mental realm. But choose a realm, and say, "I'm going to clear up my Litterbug." Maybe the Litterbug is toxic thoughts, and the toxic thoughts are what is creating you to eat food that doesn't make you feel well, to intake drinks and things that don't make you feel well. Do you see what I'm saying here?
MR: Yes.
Sophia: I'm bridging to the next level, that everything is tied together.
