But this is even better because the Scandle is a natural eco-friendly candle that when melted turns into the most luxurious warm massage oil. Yes, a warm aromatic massage oil. Let’s all say it together, ooooo…aaaaahhh!
We tested and tested and tested the Fig and Brown Sugar Scandle and found it to be an excellent massage oil. The oils absorbed immediately and did not leave any greasy feeling on the skin. The added warmth from being heated, every so slightly, was exactly the right temperature to help relax the underlying muscles. The aromatic was subtle, not over-powering in the candle form or once melted and applied to the skin.
The 10 oz size is good for about 10 full body massages. There is also a refillable candle you can order to put back in the attractive ceramic container, saving you money and the environment. The 4oz travel tin Scandle has a burn time of about 15-30 hours. Both are available in several aromatic blends.
