After more than 25 years in communications management positions for several medium and large companies, as well as a high-ranking public relations firm, Pam McConathy struck out on her own in 2008. Her current practice focuses on trends in social media and social networking, and integrating these tools into successful communications strategies for her clients. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Michigan State University, and is finishing a Master's degree in Futures Studies in the College of Technology at the University of Houston.
