Pet friendly singer Marian Carey has a new puppy -- other than younger husband Nick Cannon.
In addition to growing rumors and celebrity gossip reports that the 40+ year old star is pregnant, word is she brought home a new dog on or about June 24.
Carey told her followers on Twitter that her dog Cha-Cha added a newcomer to the mix this month: a puppy named Jackie Lambchops.
AP News reports Carey has four Jack Russell terriers and often writes Tweets about their antics when she is chatting with fans on Twitter. She featured one of the pampered pooches in comic videos that went viral on YouTube.
Veterinarian Cindy Bressler filed a lawsuit June 23 that Carey owes nearly $30,000 for care last year for three of the pooches, Cha-Cha, Dolomite and JJ.
A spokeswoman from her press camps says Mariah Carey's lawyers haven't yet seen a New York City lawsuit over pricey veterinary bills for the pop diva's dogs - but there's no question Carey is devoted to her pets.
So -- what is it, Mariah?
Pay to parent pups or bark about pricey pet doctor bills?
Representative Cindi Berger says the Grammy Award-winning singer is "a huge dog lover, as her fans around the world know..." and claims she takes great care of her pets.
Now, the only question is about whether she is willing to rightfully pay the vet, with interest and penalties, if the court says she owes the doc a big, fat check.
