The reindeer have called in sick with the H1N1 flu and the elves are frantic that all toys they are making won't get there in time. What to do? Santa needs new wheels to replace his sleigh. He asked me what to get to replace Rudolph with his nose so bright and the other eight reindeer. As I recommended in part one, Santa needs a car that's fast, roomy and with all-wheel drive.
Here's the rest of my list my for Santa:
Heated seats, to keep him warm and toasty on a long, cold night. I suggested the 2010 Acura TSX sport sedan, with dual front seat heaters that stay on for longer than most car models, in case Mrs. Claus wants to go along this year to help.
Automatic doors, to help Santa’s elves jump in and out quickly. I suggested the 2010 Chrysler Town and Country, whose side doors slide open and close with a single touch, a great feature when your arms are loaded down with gifts. An added bonus is the optional center table, in case the elves need to do some last-minute gift-wrapping en route. I told Santa that Chrysler knows a few things about the minivan, since they invented the segment 25 years ago.
Energy efficient, because even though the price of gas is down from where it was on Xmas Eve 2008, it’s still pretty pricey, and Santa puts on a lot of miles. I suggested the 2010 Volkswagen Jetta TDI clean diesel, named Green Car of the Year at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show, for its high miles per gallon and low carbon emissions.
A great navigation system, to help him find his way in the dark to the homes of all the good boys and girls. I suggested the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO, with Ford’s SYNC system that will let Santa store and use his personal phone information and iPod music collection through the car’s audio system. The award-winning EcoBoost engine will help him save fuel, and I told Santa he'll be driving secure, knowing the 2010 Ford Taurus has received a top safety award.

How about a Toyota Highlander Hybrid?
Lots of storage space, the HSD will come in handy when tooling around town going house to house, and it's got AWD for when he gets back home.
I think Mrs. Claus would be quite happy with it.
He should be driving a gas guzzler, because the carbon footprint of his reindeer is bigger than any SUV on the planet. Facts be told. Dogs have a bigger carbon footprint than any SUV. Google it if you don't believe me.
The eco-pawprint of a pet dog is twice that of a 4.6-litre Land Cruiser driven 10,000 kilometres a year, researchers have found.
