Keiretsu Forum, the world's largest angel investment community, has announced that California Attorney General and former Governor Jerry Brown will be the guest speaker for its third annual Angel Capital Expo in San Francisco on Thursday, April 30.
The Angel Capital Expo will feature a dozen presentations from early stage growth companies in technology, life sciences, consumer products, clean tech, real estate, financial services, social ventures, and other segments with high growth potential. Each entrepreneur will make a 13-minute presentation and will be available for additional discussion and due diligence at an executive booth throughout the day. Following the presentations, the over 300 accredited investor attendees will vote and award the "Most Valued Company" award.
"As the hub of angel investing, the Bay Area continues to be the major source of early stage capital," said Brown, a former Keiretsu Forum member. "With over 300 angel investors and an impressive number of presenting companies, the Keiretsu Forum Angel Capital Expo will create a dynamic gathering of investors and innovators alike."
Keiretsu is accepting applications for the Angel Capital Expo up until Friday, April 3rd. Companies interested in learning more about application process to present should email Entrepreneur Director Maggie Jacobberger at maggie@keiretsuforum.com.
Also, The Keiretsu Forum will be holding a bootcamp for Entrepreneurs who are interested in applying for angel funding through the forum. The bootcamp is an all day event held in San Francisco on Friday, Aril 3rd.
