As everyone is aware of the state fair is in full swing, so if you get the chance stop by the Eco Experience.

There is an energy symposium tomorrow at The Communication Workers of America Union Hall from 1-2:30 PM sponsored by Xcel Energy and the Lake Street Council.  The symposium deals with no-cost or low-cost energy solutions for business owners and commercial property managers.  There will be an energy engineer present to discuss energy conservation practices, and Blue Construction will give a short presentation on energy conservation practices implemented at the 3258 Minnehaha building.  The Green Institute will be presenting, and a representative from the City of Minneapolis will discuss small business loans.  Door prizes and free energy savings kits will be available at this event.  The Communication Workers of America Union Hall is located at 3521 East Lake Street.
