Great Danes are the love of Meg's life. Not only is she the vet coordinator and a board member for the Rocky Mt. Great Dane Rescue, but there are always two or three Danes at her house, either hers, fosters, or a combination. Educating oneself about the Gentle Giants is the single most important thing someone should do before bringing a Great Dane into their home and she hopes this column will help with that in some small way.
