Another upcoming family friendly event is the registration for the Chevron Houston Marathon. This event is not just about the marathon, which is a huge event, involving 22,000 runners, but also, the half marathon, the 5Kevent and, my favorite, the Kids Fun Run. The run is in January but this event is so popular the registration is done in waves, starting July 17th.
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is in town starting July 15 through July 26 at Reliant Stadium. Wow, cotton candy, clowns, elephants, flying dogs, performing tigers and amazing sites and sounds, “the greatest show on earth”.
