A city sanitation worker was arrested for driving while intoxicated Sunday evening, the police said.
Peter Steffen, 35 was off duty when he was stopped by the police at Brighton 7 Street and Shore Parkway for driving recklessly. He was arrested at approximately 6 p.m. in the Brighton Beach section of Brooklyn.
As of press time no further details were available.
In addition to jail time and vehicle forfeiture, if convicted Steffen faces termination of employment.
