“The Voice” of Gospel music,” Sandi Patty is coming to the Grand Ole Opry and she is bringing Larnelle Harris, Wayne Watson, Ben Utecht and Pastor Jim Lyons with her when she presents “Sandi Patty and Friends,” at the Grand Ole Opry. This exclusive weekend of fellowship, worship, concerts and more February 5-7, 2010 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville will be Patty's first time at the Grand Ole Opry.
Sandi Patty will be joined several stellar friends from the gospel music community. Her longtime friend and sometimes singing partner Larnelle Harris will join Patty to perform their classic hits “I’ve Just Seen Jesus” and “More Than Wonderful.” Patty will be joined by the legendary Wayne Watson when she sings the timeless "Another Time, Another Place." Other special guests at "Sandi Patty and Friends” will include Pastor Jim Lyons and the Cincinnati Bengals’ Ben Utecht.
Patty just recently concluded her Sandi Patty Christmas LIVE tour which visited 14 U.S. cities, continuing a 10-year tradition of performing the Christmas spectacular with symphonies across the country. That tour did not come through Nashville, so “Sandi Patty and Friends” will bring the diva directly to us.
The “Sandi Patty and Friends” weekend includes memorable performances, a two night stay in a double room at Opryland Hotel, multiple meet and greet opportunities with Patty and the other musical artists, and a devotion and message from Pastor Jim Lyon from Madison Park Church of God in Anderson, IN.
