Official Twilight Convention comes to Nashville with Peter Facinelli, Kellan Lutz and the wolf pack

Summit Entertainment and Creation Entertainment Bring the Official Twilight Convention Tour to
Nashville, TN, January 29-31, 2010

Local fans of Twilight will be ecstatic to know that The Official Twilight Fan Convention is coming to Nashville on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 29 - 31. The three-day Twilight weekend will bring a little bit of Forks, WA, and a lot of vampires and werewolves to the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Celebrities who will be on hand at the Nashville Twilight Convention include: Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisle Cullen); Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen); Wolf Pack members, Kiowa Gordon (Embry Call), Bronson Pelletier (Jared) and Daniel Cudmore (Felix).

Nashvillians can expect to be treated to on-stage appearances by the Twilight celebrities, exclusive footage screenings, panel discussions, musical performances including a Friday night Musical Concert, Twilight-themed parties including a Saturday Night Vampire Ball, costume and trivia competitions, auctions, autograph signings, photo opportunities, Twilight merchandise and more.  
 

Written by Mormon mom Stephanie Meyer, the somewhat faith-based Twilight saga is controversial among Christian circles. Some consider vampires to be demonic by default. Others point to Meyer's storyline regarding the Cullen family's concern for their souls and the fact they overcome their baser instincts as a type of modern morality play. Actor Robert Pattinson has pointed out abstinence is part of Twilight's appeal
