Jonas Brothers at Sommet Center in Nashville
As reported in Nashville gospel music events in August: Jason Crabb, pureNRG, Jonas Brothers, and more, Christian singers and entertainers the Jonas Brothers are returning to Nashville to play the Sommet Center (formerly Gaylord Entertainment Center) located at 501 Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 7:00 pm. The Jonas Brothers are on tour for their latest recording, Lines, Vines and Trying Times.
Jonas Brothers at Ryman in January
When the JoBros were here in January of 2009, not only did they pack out the Ryman, but they brought along a few friends including gospel artists Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Jordin Sparks, as well as country artists Vince Gill, Martina McBride, and Brad Paisley. It will be interesting to see if any surprise guests turn up at their August show.

Joe Jonas on American Idol
The LA Times reports that Joe Jonas has been confirmed as a guest judge for an audition round (rumored to be Dallas) on American Idol along with Kelly Clarkson. The JoBros last appeared on American Idol in May 2008 when they performed during the Season 7 finale.
