Christmas Eve is this week! Have you made your Christmas Eve plans yet? The following list is of some of the Christmas Eve services and events taking place around Nashville and Middle Tennessee in 2009. I will be updating this list as I learn of other Christmas Eve services, so check back for more candles, carols, and Christmas events.

Candlelight Service and Lord's Supper at Bellevue Baptist Church

The annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship Service and Lord' Supper will be held at Bellevue Baptist Church at 5:00PM. Bellevue Baptist Church is located 7400 Highway 70 S. in Nashville.

Candlelight and Carol Service at Christ Church

Christ Church in Nashville on Old Hickory Blvd has a Candlelight and Carol service from 11 to midnight on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve Service at Christ Presbyterian Church

Christ Presbyterian Church in Nashville will have a Christmas Eve Service at 5:00 PM. The Family-friendly "What's In The Box?" with Rev. Todd Teller will present a lessons & carols service followed by fellowship. Bring cookies to share, coffee and hot chocolate provided.

Christmas Event Communion at Christ Presbyterian Church

Christ Pres is also hosting their Christmas Event Communion at 11:00 PM. Candlelight Communion "Manger Matters"with Lessons & Carols - Traditional and New Songs, and. Scripture Readings. Christ Pres is located at 2323 Old Hickory Blvd. in Nashville.

Christmas Eve Service at Community Church of Hendersonville

Community Church of Hendersonville will hold their annual Christmas Eve Service at 6:00 PM 381. The church is located on West Main Street in Hendersonville. Phone: 826-0042.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Services at Crosspoint Church

Mark your calendars and invite your family and friends to attend the Christmas Eve Candlelight Services at Crosspoint Church. These family services are always a special time of celebration and worship. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 23rd at 6:30 PM and Thursday, December 24th at 3:30, 5:00 and 6:30 PM. Communion on Christmas Eve. at First Baptist Church Downtown

First Baptist Church Downtown is hosting a special time of worship featuring carols candles and communion on Christmas Eve at 5:00 PM in the church Sanctuary and again at 8:00PM in the Foyer.

Christmas Eve Show at Nashville Center for Spiritual Living

Nashville musicians will perform at a Christmas Eve show at the Nashville Center for Spiritual Living. The event starts at 6 p.m. and is free. Music includes Christmas classics ranging from "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and "Let There Be Peace on Earth" to carols such as "Deck the Halls," "Joy to the World," and "O Little Town of Bethlehem." Performers will include songwriter Rand Bishop, Stacey Bishop, Lance Hoppen of the legendary band Orleans, Gregory Fisher, Lisa Peebles, Terri Brinegar, Paige Manuel, Ursula Roden, Annie Sims & Jan Volk, and the NCSL Band, Choir and Children's Chorus. Christmas Eve Services at St. Augustine's Episcopal Chapel

Christmas Eve Service at The Gate

The Gate in Franklin will hold their Christmas Eve Service from 5:00 pm – 5:50pm at the church located at 3835 Carothers Parkway Franklin, TN. Call 615-775-7114.
