The Wikileaks documents: White House pleads, Taliban threatens, Army source in custody - Video

The Wikileaks Afghanistan war documents are causing an upheaval around the world. The White House is asking that no more documents be published while the Taliban has now confirmed it intends to hunt down and punish any suspected spies named.

In addition, Army private Bradley Manning, who is suspected of leaking tens of thousands of classified Afghan War documents is now in custody in Quantico, Virginia.

WikiLeaks.com posted more than 90,000 United States military and diplomatic reports about the Afghanistan war on July 25 and the topic has been a huge media story forcing it to the top of the Google trends all week.

CBS: White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said today that all the White House can do to stop the website Wikileaks from publishing more top secret documents is ask. "We can do nothing but implore the person that has those classified, top secret documents not to post anymore."

NEWSWEEK: The U.S. military has already accused WikiLeaks of having "the blood of some young soldier or that of an Afghan family" on its hands after leaking 92,000 classified documents. The Taliban has now confirmed it is poring through the documents, and intends to hunt down and punish any suspected spies named.

FOXNews: Pfc. Bradley Manning, a 22-year-old intelligence analyst formerly posted in Iraq, is the focus of a military investigation into the publication of 75,000 secret Army logs sent from Afghanistan between 2004 and 2009. Manning has already been charged over the leaking a video of a fatal 2007 helicopter strike that appeared on the WikiLeaks website in April.
