Sir Isaac Newton's birthday is linked to Burj Dubai, the world's tallest building.
How exactly? Ask Google.
Sir Isaac Newton was born on this date in 1643. The English scientist described gravity, drawing his inspiration from an apple falling to the ground from a tree.
Google remembered Sir Isaac Newton's birthday today with a clever doodle that shows an apple falling from the remade logo.
Predictably, Sir Isaac Newton is one of the hotter search trends today. That pretty much always happens whenever Google doodles something on its logo.
But here's what isn't predictable: Google says searches related to Sir Isaac Newton today include "tallest building in the world" and "Burj Dubai opening."
Huh?
The Burj Dubai tower is to be officially unveiled today in the United Arab Emirates. It stands about 2,600 feet and is now the world's tallest building.
So how is that related to searches for Newton's birthday? Perhaps people are imagining an apple falling from the top of the Burj Dubai?
Any theories? Post them in the comments. And happy birthday, Sir Isaac.

you're trying to put two trends together and they make no sense. You don't even try to answer the question. Poor job.
????????????????????
this is exactly what is called as suiting theories to facts rather than facts to theories.
You suck! Go get a coffee and come back when you have a fresh thought.
its because today will be the birthday of the Burj Dubai tower and its Sir Issac Newtons birthday. Its just 366 years difference. And because it has been on the news and people are wondering whats up with it
very gudd
i dont get it
I'm sure that Malcolm Gladwell would have a reasonable explanation.
Bad writers leave questions to the readers.
Terrible writers leave terrible questions.
You have made a relation out of something that is not related; correlation without causation.
You aren't smart.
You aren't a good writer.

Pretty dumb. Go back to work.

Think more exciting ............
you guys are frekin retarded
get a life ..
who really cares haha
One apple = One "O" from Google. Now Google has only one "O" in the logo - ie - Gogle. That "O" fallen because of Newotons theory. OKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKkk
It's more a measure of collective consciousness: 1)Click big picture on Google first 2)Check out the main news event of the day.
Not really surprising.
Very Good............
*I* have greater journalistic intergity. I bet you have a corner office and a 50 k+ salary.

do me in the stink hole
I think there's alot of people in the world that don't understand that there's alot of opinions and the world and their afraid of being different that's way no one here has anythings postive to say sad for them hope they find some kind of inner peace within themselves because this world has enough dark in it. I think the falling apple is a good idea and the info was interesting and if anyone has anything to say about this comment in a negative way it sounds like a personal problem.
Non sense? apple, building, gravity, 366 years appart, 366 in some years, am I seing something that is not real in this reality? Non sense of cocurse!
A lot of Newton's principles are used in Civil Engineering. Since this is building required a lot of it, maybe it's a celebration of what Newton helped create.

Sir Isaac Newton's birthday was 25 December 1642! Please check your facts. You can Wikipedia it or even more entertaining watch Big Bang Theory.
I think you have an interesting question!! Does Issac's birthday relate to the tallest building opening ceremony in Dubai? I would say "NO". Do you want "why?". When I watched the ceremony yesterday on the city local TV station, they said 4th of January is when the current ruler of Dubai became president of the city 4 years ago, and the celebration of the new tower is a celebration of his great achievements over the past years. I think it is nice to ask,"Will the tower stand and overcome gravity for a very long time?"
good good good..........................
What do you think?
