August 4 -- With the top spot in the world golf rankings at stake, No. 1 Tiger Woods will try to stave off third-ranked Lee Westwood as they go head-to-head in the first two rounds of the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational this week.

Marquee pairings. Woods and Westwood head up the marquee pairings for Thursday’s first round at Bridgestone. The twosome will hit the links at 1:50 p.m. EDT off the first tee.

  • 9:50 a.m. -- Mickelson, Rory McIlroy (10th tee)
