Anthony Randolph
By the way, Minnesota has been playing better ... despite that big blown lead the other night. And the Warriors? Well, let's see if Corey Maggette actually returns and, if so, what that brings.
Tip ...
NUCK CHORRIS WROTE: I don't know if my fragile soul could handle losing Anthony Randolph. He should be playing.
MS: A few weeks back, I thought there was little to no chance the Warriors would trade Randolph. Now, I think there are scenarios out there in which the Warriors might do it.
And one would be if the Warriors were to get back a player that Don Nelson thinks is just as intriguing as he thought Randolph was back in June _ when they drafted him. You can just tell Randolph isn't thought of as the commodity he once was.
Fewer people in the organization are talking about Nelson not playing Randolph these days than are talking about how Randolph maybe doesn't even deserve to play. You don't have to be watching every minute of Warriors practice to realize Randolph's play and attitude have gotten worse.
Put that together with an organization that may be itchy and you just never can say never.

WARRIORMATT WROTE: "... all these moves sound like Twardzik/St. Jean variety ..."
MS: First of all, former Warriors general manager Garry St. Jean was at the Toronto game the other night. Apparently, first time he's been back in a while.
I'll say this about St. Jean, I know it's easy to scoff at him, but the guy had a hell of a draft in 2001: Jason Richardson (No. 5), Troy Murphy (No. 14) and Gilbert Arenas (No. 31).
And it always bears repeating: St. Jean did not select Adonal Foyle over Tracy McGrady. That was P.J. Carlesimo.
Now, onto the list of 10 real quick. I realize there are no proven difference-makers on that list. But they're the kind of players who some will say have potential or intrigue, and I'm thinking that Don Nelson and Larry Riley might be among them. We know Nelson likes big guys who can shoot and pass and the list has some.

BLOGSPOT GUY: Good way to draw traffic. Kudos. Andris Biedrins is our best player so far, but nice job anyway.
MS: I'll let you put the name of that blog on here, but I've got to let it go. Anyway, I don't necessarily disagree with you that Andris Biedrins is the Warriors' best player.
But that is irrelevant to the discussion as to which player is most playing up to his potential. Each player has his own scale and when it comes to Biedrins his scale is a tougher measure than C.J. Watson's. That's why I judge Biedrins and Watson differently, and the fact of the matter is I expect more out of Biedrins than Watson. And you should, too. Biedrins deserves as much.
More Warriors ...

I see what you mean when it comes to appeasing Nelson's ever shifting focus and favoritism. That said, Anthony Randolph will come back to haunt the Warriors over the entirety of his career if the W's bail on his development in favor of flash-in-the-pan tactics. Namely tactics that would bring in a mediocre vet or a Yi/Bargnani type player through another front office crap shoot. I'd pass on that. Even if it means tanking the season and being lottery bound. I say let Randolph play. I think that he is so upset because he thinks that he could make a difference. Besides, it is insulting for nelson to not play one of his longest and highest jumping big men against the Thunder. Many of the shots inside the key weren't even challenged or hurried. Would it have been like that if Randolph were in? I doubt it. I can't speak to the practices, but his decline of attitude is at least partly due to Nelson jerking him around, and keeping him in limbo. Maybe if Biedrins, Wright and Turiaf can't get it done tonight we will see a little of Randolph, but I feel another DNP-CD coming.
Go Dubs!!
I don't know whats going in practices but NOBODY on this team plays harder than Anthony Randolph in games.
What kind of market value do you create when you say a guy is untouchable then you demonstrate that he can't even play for a team that can't win 30% of its games?
I agree St. Jean is a great guy. But as for his 2001 Draft isn't there a saying about even a blind squirrel occasionally finds a nut? However, If I am honest as a Warriors fan....I agreed with hiring Adelman (who has been successful everywhere but here), I liked Carlesimo when he was hired. Easy to criticize these guys in hindsight. Thinking about it I like the Bargani type names on your list guys that don't play their position tradionally (ie big guys with an outside shot) that in Nelson's system might flourish. However, I would rather see them wait and see what develops.
If I were you, I'd delete the blogspot's posts unless he actually says something decipherable.
