Chili’s gluten free menu offers several options for gluten free diners. Menu options are limited, but are also relatively easy to order. Tell the wait staff that you are gluten free and request a gluten free menu.
As in most restaurants the best service comes from the best wait staff. I have frequently visited Chili’s restaurants in Wilson, Goldsboro, and Raleigh and I have continually had very good service with knowledgeable wait staff and chefs.
I generally order a bunless hamburger, grilled salmon, or salmon with garlic and herbs. I usually request black beans and rice, corn, or fresh vegetables as my sides without additional sauce or butter. The allergen friendly menu clearly states how you should order your food and what you need to inform your waiter or waitress about in ordering.
The menu also clearly states thatChili's cannot guarantee a meal to be completely free of allergens because they do not have a dedicated allergen free or gluten free cooking station. The experiences I have had at Chili’s have always been positive and my food has been delicious. But with all gluten free dining outside of your kitchen, you need to be aware that cross contamination can easily happen, especially in large chain restaurants.

I give Chili’s 3 ½ stars for consistency, good food, and a pleasant gluten free dining experience.
Pros: Provide a gluten free menu, staff is knowledable regarding gluten free diet, food is delicious.
Cons: Waiting times for seating and meals can be long, gluten free menu is very limited, kitchen does not have a dedicated allergen free and/or gluten free cooking area, they cannot guarantee a completely gluten free or allergen free meal.
