Eating pizza gluten-free has gotten much easier over the past year or so here in Columbus. Just a few years ago, there was only one place that served anything resembling a gluten-free pizza, and that was Donato’s. Donato’s has a “No Dough” pizza that either uses a soy crisp (a thin, rice-cake like crisp) and tops that with sauce, cheese & toppings or just bakes up the cheese, sauce & toppings on a plate. Doesn’t really do the trick when all you want is a good pie, but still is not a bad choice. Over the past year, a few more places have popped up to get your gluten-free pizza, with a gluten-free crust!

Uno Chicago Grill. There are 2 locations in the Columbus, one in Dublin and one in Pickerington. Uno’s started offering the gluten-free pizza crust earlier this year. The crust is great & it is so nice to be able to eat gluten-free pizza out with friends. The gluten-free pizza only comes in one size, small. Uno’s also serves gluten-free beer, Redbridge. It doesn’t get much better than this. Uno’s also has a number of other gluten-free items on the menu, such as salmon, chicken & salads.
