KuKuRuZa Popcorn's Valentine package
In the competitive field of gourmet popcorn, you've got to have a gimmick.
Actually, not. There's only one player in the field of gourmet popcorn in Seattle, and that's KuKuRuZa, in the Kress Building downtown. Still, for Valentine's, they've dreamed up two new flavors.
Dreamy Nights: caramel corn mixed with Macadamia nuts, latticed with Grand Marnier-infused white chocolate and dusted with red sugar.
Mexican Hot Chocolate: caramel corn drenched in chocolate that's been infused with Ceylon cinnamon and New Mexico chili. What with the cinnamon and chocolate, it could be "the ultimate aphrodisiac," says KuKuRuZa's owner, George Maremma, adding, "If this popcorn masterpiece won’t put a sparkle in your honey’s eyes, nothing will.”
As always, "Popcorn Chef" Robert Hicks is on hand to create custom flavors for corporate events ("Congratulations! You're Hired!") and private occasons ("Sorry You Lost Your House!"). KuKuRuZa also offers custom popcorn gifts in tins, boxes, bags, baskets or in bulk.
